OMNI 510 / 512 SCALE

CALIBRATION

 

1.         With the scale turned on, press the [OMSI] key.

2.         (SEC   id) will be displayed.

3.         Using the [NET/GROSS] key, and the [TARE] key, press “1” six times. (NOTE: the [TARE] key is the increment advance and the [NET/GROSS] key is the position advance key.) With the display showing (SEC   id), press the [TARE] key. The display now shows “1”. Press the [NET/GROSS] key. The display now shows “10”. Press the [TARE] key to change the zero to a 1. The display now shows “11”. Press the [NET/GROSS] key. The display now shows “110”. Press the [TARE] key to change the zero to a 1. Repeat these steps until “1 1 1 1 1 1” is displayed.

4.         With six 1’s displayed, press the [PRINT] key one time. The [PRINT] key has now become the [ENTER] key.

5.         (Uid) will be displayed.

6.         Press the [OMSI] key 9 times, until (AutoC) is displayed.

7.         At (AutoC), press and hold the [PRINT] key, then press the [OMSI] key. The unit will beep and change to a number. Release both keys. If the number displayed is not a zero, change it to zero by pressing the [TARE] key. When changed to a zero, press [PRINT].

8.         (cb) will be displayed.

9.         Press the [OMSI] key 14 times, until (CAL) is displayed.

10.      Press the [PRINT] key to display (0-CAL). Press the [ZERO] key.

11.      (CAP) will be displayed. Press [PRINT]. 40000 will be displayed. Press [PRINT].

12.      (SPAN) will be displayed. LOWER THE WEIGHT RACK INTO THE MIXER. Press [PRINT].

13.      (40000) is again displayed. Using the [NET/GROSS] key and the [TARE] key as step 3, enter the value of the weight just lowered into the mixer. Press [PRINT].

14.      (Uid) will be displayed.

15.      Press the [NET/GROSS] key. The unit now shows the calibrated weight.

16.      Remove the weight from the mixer. The scale should return to 0 pounds.

NOTE: If you are using a platform scale as a reference, load the box with commodity at step 12, assuming you have already established an empty weight for the mixer. Enter the net value of the commodity at step 13.
