OMNI 504
SCALE CALIBRATION
NOTE: This procedure only applies to non-legal for
trade OMNI 504 scales. If your scale is marked on the side of the case with an
NTEP sticker with Class III nmax 5,000 div and a
cert. # of 00-046, your scale is legal for trade.
1.
With
the scale turned on, press the [OMSI] key.
2.
(SEC id) will be displayed.
3.
Using
the keypad, press 1 six times. (- - - - - - ) will be
displayed.
4.
Press
the [ENTER] key.
5.
(Uid) will be displayed.
6.
Press
the [OMSI] key nine times, until (AutoC) is displayed.
7.
At
(AutoC), press and hold the [PRINT] key, then press
the [OMSI] key. The unit will beep and display a number. Release both keys. If
the number displayed is not a zero, press the [0] key, then press the [ENTER]
key.
8.
(cb) will be displayed. Press the
[OMSI] key.
9.
(dis UP) will be displayed. Press the
[OMSI] key.
10. (bal) will be
displayed. Press the [OMSI] key.
11. (Ato) will
be displayed. Press the [OMSI] key.
12. (AtC) will
be displayed. Press the [OMSI] key.
13. (FS) will be displayed. Press the
[OMSI] key.
14. (FoFF) will
be displayed. Press the [OMSI] key.
15. (Fon) will
be displayed. Press the [OMSI] key.
16. (FoC) will
be displayed. Press the [OMSI] key.
17. (FP) will be displayed. Press the
[OMSI] key.
18. (FC) will be displayed. Press the
[OMSI] key.
19. (Lc) will be
displayed. Press the [OMSI] key.
20. (Unit) will be displayed. Press the
[OMSI] key.
21. (Cnt) will
be displayed. Press the [OMSI] key.

23. (0-CAL) will be displayed. Press the
[ZERO] key.
24. (CAP) will be displayed. Press
[ENTER]. (40000) will be displayed. Press [ENTER].
25. (SPAN) will be displayed. Lower the
weight rack into the mixer. (See NOTE below). Press the [ENTER] KEY.
26. (40000) will be displayed. Using the
keypad, enter known weight just lowered into the mixer. Press the [ENTER] key.
27. (Uid) will
be displayed.
28. Press the [NET/GROSS] key. The unit
will now display the calibrated value.
29. Remove the weight. The display should
return to 0 pounds. The calibration procedure is complete.
NOTE: If you are using a platform scale as a
reference, load your box with commodity at step 25, assuming you have already
established an empty weight.
