J-STAR OMP 5 CALIBRATION INSTRUCTIONS

 

To calibrate the OMP 5 scale indicator you must start by entering the setup mode. This is done by pressing the [NET/GROSS] key in conjunction with the [ON] key for three seconds or until the small “cal” enunciator shows up at the top of the display. The first thing that will be displayed will be “tc” as shown below.

 

To change displayed values simply press the [NET/GROSS] key until the correct value is displayed. To enter the value and proceed to the next step press the [ON] key.

Balance the scale using the [NET/GROSS] key and the [TARE] key. At this time add a known weight to the scale. ( you must add at least 10% of the gross capacity or 4000LBS.) “CAL” this is where you will enter the amount of weight that you added to the scale.

 

Use the [NET/GROSS] key to change the value of the flashing digit. And use the [TARE] key to change the digit that is flashing.

 

When the correct number has been entered press the [ON] key to enter the normal weighing mode.
