CALIBRATION FOR OMNI 504 (NTEP)

1. With the scale turned on press the [OMSI] key. (SEC id) will be displayed.
2. Using the key pad, press in the number 1 digit six times. It will appear as (------).
3. Press the [ENTER] key. (U id) will be displayed.
4. Using the [OMSI] key, press it 9 times until (AutoC) is displayed.
5. Remove all 8 screws from the faceplate of the scale, and remove faceplate with attached circuit board. Locate the black button program switch labeled PROG and depress the switch one time.
6. The displayed number will now most likely read 9. Press the [0] key to change the 9 into a 0 then press the [ENTER] key.
7. (cb) displayed press ENTER, 10 displayed press ENTER
8. (diS UP) displayed press ENTER, 2 displayed, change to a 6, press ENTER
9. (bal) displayed press ENTER, 2 displayed press ENTER
10. (AtO) displayed press ENTER, 0 displayed press ENTER.
11. (AtC) displayed press ENTER, 50 displayed press ENTER.
12. (FS) displayed press ENTER, 16 displayed press ENTER.
13. (FoFF) displayed press ENTER, 25,000 displayed, change to 50,000, press ENTER
14. (Fon) displayed press ENTER, 10,000 displayed,change to 15,000, press ENTER
15. (FoC) displayed press ENTER, 5 displayed press ENTER.
16. (FP) displayed press ENTER, 100,000 displayed, change to 75,000, press ENTER
17. (FC) displayed press ENTER, 10 displayed press ENTER.
18. (o-Set) displayed press ENTER, 0 displayed press ENTER.
19. (Lc) displayed press ENTER, 2 displayed press ENTER.
20. (Unit) displayed press ENTER, 0 displayed press ENTER. ( 0 = pounds, 1 = kilograms)
21. (Cnt) displayed press ENTER, random numbers displayed press ENTER.
22. (CAL) displayed press ENTER,
23. (0-CAL) displayed, press [ZERO] key.
24. (CAP) displayed press ENTER, 40,000 displayed press ENTER.
25. (SPAn) displayed. Lower a known weight onto mixer of at least 4,000 pounds or load mixer box with commodity if using a platform scale as reference. If using a platform scale as reference do not forget to obtain an empty weight on truck with box empty. Press ENTER.
26. (40,000) displayed again. Using key pad enter in known value of weight then press ENTER.
27. Scale will then go back and display (U id).
28. Press the [NET/GROSS] key, scale will now show calibrated weight.
29. Lift off weights, or empty feed box of commodity, scale should go to 0 pounds.

Note: Shortcut at step # 5. Press and hold the [Print] key, then press and hold the [OMSI] key, this will take you to step #6 without having to remove all the screws.

Be sure steps 8, 12,13,14,and 16 are all changed as above. At step #17, with (FC) displayed, just press the [NET/GROSS] key to exit back to gross weighing mode, no need to continue, if you are not calibrating scale.
