DIGI-STAR EZ SERIES SCALE CALIBRATION

When installing any Digi-Star EZ series scale indicator you must check the
indicator calibration. Since the scale systems will have either weigh bars or
load cells, we will use one of two different calibration numbers.
To check or adjust the
calibration value, it is necessary to enter the "short form"
setup screen on the scale indicator.
To enter the short
form screen:
1) Power up the indicator
by pressing the [ON] button on the front of the indicator.
2) Wait for the "HELLO"
message to leave the screen.
3) Press and hold the [ZERO]
button, then press the [ON] button until the indicator beeps and the
display flashes the word "SETUP".
(The screen will display the word SETUP for only one second and will then
display a six digit number.)
4) The six digit number
displayed at this point should be set to126040.
5) If it is necessary to
change the value of this number follow the directions in step 6.
6) To change the value of
the flashing digit, press the [NET/GROSS] button.
To change the position of the flashing digit
to the next digit over, press the [TARE] button.
7) Once the SETUP number
has been verified as correct, press the [ON] button.
8) Next the screen will
display "CAL" for approximately one second then it will
display the actual calibration number.
9) As in step 6, if it is
necessary to change the calibrationnumber you must use the [NET/GROSS]
and [TARE] buttons.

10) To enter the new
value and exit the setup screen simply press
the [ON] button.
