DIGI‑STAR EZ‑150/2000 SCALE CALIBRATION USING PLATFORM SCALE AS A REFERENCE

I.Drive the feed mixer to a platform scale and obtain a empty weight of the mixer.

Power up the scale and allow it to warm up for 5 minutes.

II.Press and hold the [NET/GROSS] key, then press and hold the [ON] key until "CAL" appears at the top of the display in small letters. This will indicate that the scale is in the calibration mode.

III.From this point on the [ON] key will act as the ENTER key, and the [NET/GROSS] key will act as the VALUE INCREMENT key if it is necessary to change a parameter value.

IV."MOTION" will appear on the display for one second then it should change to "OFF". If it displays "ON" press the [NET/GROSS] button to change it to off.

VI.

Press the [ON] button.

V."D RATE" will appear on the display, then change to "2". If not, press the [NET/GROSS] repeatedly until it displays "2".

VIII.

press the [ON] button.

VI."W MTHD" will appear on the display, then change to "1". If not, press the [NET/GROSS] repeatedly until it displays "1".

X.

Press the [ON] button.

VII."ZTRACK" will appear on the display, then change to "ON". If not, press the [NET/GROSS] button to turn it on.

XII.

Press the "ON" button.

VIII.Next the scale will scroll a message that says "PRESS NET/GROSS FOR CALIBRATION ‑ PRESS TARE FOR SETUP ‑ PRESS ON TO EXIT". At this point you will press the [NET/GROSS] button for calibration.

IX."LB‑KG" will appear on the display, then change to "LB". If not press the [NET/GROSS] button.

XV.

.Press the [ON] button.

X."CAP" will appear on the display, then it will change to "40000" with the digit on the far right flashing. If not, press the [NET/GROSS] button to change the value of the flashing digit, then use the [TARE] button to change the position of the flashing digit in the number.

XI.Press the [ON] button.

XII."COUNT" will appear on the display, then change to "10". If not, press the [NET/GROSS] repeatedly until it displays "10".

XIII.Press the [ON] button.

XIV."ZERO" will appear on the display, then change to a number. Press the [NET/GROSS] button, then press the [ZERO] button to zero balance the scale indicator.

XV.Press the [ON] button.

XVI."ADD WT" will appear on the display, then change "0"

XVII.At this point you will need to load the mixer with no less than 4000 Lb. of weight.

XVIII.Next, drive the mixer back to the platform scale and obtain a loaded weight and subtract this number from the empty weight obtained in step 1.

XIX.Press the [ON] button.

XX.Enter the number obtained from step 24 into the scale by pressing [NET/GROSS] to change the value of the flashing digit, and [TARE] to change the position of the flashing digit in the number.

XXI.Once the correct weight has been entered, press the [ON] button to enter the calibration number into the scale.
