DIGI-STAR EZ SERIES
SCALE CALIBRATION
SHORT FORM
When
installing any Digi-Star EZ series scale indicator,
you must check the indicator calibration. Since the scale system will have
either weigh bars or load cells, we will use one of two calibration numbers.
To check or
adjust the calibration value, it is necessary to enter the “Short
Form” setup screen on the scale indicator.
1.
Power
up the indicator by pressing the [ON] key.
2.
Wait
for the “HELLO” message to leave the
display screen.
3.
Press
and hold the [ZERO] key, then press the [ON] key until the indicator beeps and
the display flashes the word “SETUP”.
(SETUP will be displayed for one second, then be replaced with a six digit
number.)
4.
The
six digit number displayed should be: 126040.
5.
If
it is necessary to change the value of this number, follow the directions in
the next step.
6.
To
change the value of the flashing digit, press the [NET/GROSS] key. To change the
position of the flashing digit, press the [TARE] key.
7.
When
the setup number has been verified as correct, press the [ON] key.

As
in step 6, if it is necessary to change the calibration number, you must use
the [NET/GROSS] key and the [TARE] key.

To
enter the new value and exit the setup screen, press the [ON] key.
