QUICK, EASY GUIDE FOR OPERATING

THE OMNI OMS 504 SCALE

Turn the scale on by pressing the [ON] key. The scale will go through a self-test during a countdown from 88888 to 00000.

Place the scale in GROSS WEIGHT mode, if not already there by pressing the [NET/GROSS] key. The Gross LED should be on in this mode.

To Zero Balance the scale before loading, press the [ZERO] key, then press the [TARE] key. The display is now zeroed and the mixer is ready to be loaded. The scale will show “c      0”. NOTE: the scale will not zero if the MOTION LED is on.

Begin loading the mixer. The scale will count up to the desired weight.

To unload, the driver may just start unloading and subtract the desired weight from the gross, or unload the entire amount until the scale reaches zero or the mixer is empty.

If split feeding, the driver may want to press the [TARE] key to put the scale into NET mode. The scale will read zero. As feed is fed off, the mixer will count up to the desired weight with a negative sign in front of the number. Pressing the [NET/GROSS] key will display the gross weight. The [TARE] key can be pressed again to tare the scale to zero and proceed with the next unload amount.
