The Portable Group Animal Scale is NORAC’s latest OnBoard™ innovation. This concept has taken NORAC’s popular Multiweigh™ Animal Scale and made it portable - improving the scale’s efficiency and versatility. Weighing anywhere, anytime, accurately!

Durable Design
The Portable Group Animal Scale’s patented design consists of a deck and pen sides, suspended on load cells at four points within a portable base frame. When in transport mode, the cage is “locked down” to the base frame. This prevents cage movement and load cell damage during transport.



Easy to Use
Load is applied to or removed from the cells through a manual lift/lower lever system.

Rugged Versatility
NORAC’s OnBoard™ weighing design is ideally suited to the unpredictable conditions of multi-site use. The Portable Group Animal Scale is capable of providing Legal-for-Trade weights in locations
where the scale may be off-level by as much as four degrees or six per cent. In addition to the scale’s ability to meet the physical demands of remote weighing, the instrumentation package that complements the scale provides a complete report for each batch and lot of animals weighed. When the scale is in weigh-mode the deck is only six inches off the ground. The low profile of the weighing platform makes loading and unloading animals quick, easy and safe.

Legal-For-Trade
NORAC Portable Scales are NTEP approved in the U.S., an approval that is generally accepted by most state agencies. It is also approved in Canada by Measurement Canada. The Portable Group Animal Scale includes a wood deck tongue and groove pressure treated fir and a premium quality paint system with a urethane top coat and epoxy primer on a sandblasted surface. Also two (2) standard gates, and a rubber T-belt on entry and exit are included.

ONBOARD™ WEIGH CENTER
The control center is conveniently mounted on the exterior of the cage so that all transactions are easily viewed by the operator. A legal ticket can be printed for your records. The weather proof enclosure protects the instrumentation and printer, for years of trouble-free use.
