The Model 640XL is a general purpose
indicator which provides simple, yet
accurate and reliable weighing used
on mixers, grain carts, livestock scales,
feed bins, weigh carts and many more
applications.
Features & Benefits
Simple Operation - ZERO key zeros the scale, PRINT key transfers
weight data to printer, computer, or transfer data module (TDM-40).
Gross/Tare/Net - G/N key allows viewing of either gross or
net weights. TARE key is useful for temporary "zeroing" of the scale.
Readable Display - 6 digit -14 segment, 2 inch alpha-numeric LCD
display, with bright backlighting for low light applications.
Rugged Construction - Seamless polycarbonate enclosure with
sealed back panel protect indicator from vibration, impact, moisture and dust.
HOLD - Holds weight constant when moving mobile equipment
(i.e grain carts, mixers, weigh carts, etc.).
Auto-LOC - "LOCK On and Hold" livestock weights
on the display for easy viewing.
Direct Connect - Weigh Bars can be connected directly to the
indicator, saves on cost of a junction box, and increases reliability.
Motion Filtering - Enhanced dual "harmonizer" filtering
settles down weight display for easy viewing. Ideal for filtering excess motion
on mixers and livestock applications.
Memory Accumulators - 100 six-character alpha-numeric accumulator
channels. Useful in identifying fields, seed type, livestock groups, or amounts
of recipes batched and or fed.
Accumulate - Access memory channels with the RM key, accumulate
manually (M+) or automatically with Auto-LOC.
Reports - Standard G/T/N printouts available, with optional
RS-232 port. Additional reports list the accumulator channels and their count,
average and total accumulations.
Front Panel Programming - All setup and calibration can easily
be performed from the keypad without having a simulator or weights.
Automatic Shut-Down - Low battery warning. Automatic shutdown
below 9 volts and optional programmable sleep mode shutdown after inactivity
of scale occurs.
Power Recovery - Returns to same weight display after a power
failure, including the latest Tare weight.
